Home-based translator, animal person through and through. My desk looks out on the yard, so I can keep an eye on everyone while I work. I have a Bernese mountain dog called Hugo, who is nine and very sociable with other dogs.
No kennels and no cages here. Boarding dogs have the run of the house, with a secure backyard, and I'll send photos every morning and evening. Walks are an hour door to door, in groups of no more than 3. I collect and drop off, towel off muddy paws and send a photo and a note after every walk.
I cover the Glebe, Old Ottawa South and Westboro. No extra charge for weekends or stat holidays.
